The 2015 annual Alliance Quality Symposium (AQS) will build on the successes and lessons learned from the September 2014 meeting, with a strong slate of expert faculty actively engaged in quality improvement to improve clinician and patient learning. Scheduled to occur in September 2015 in Baltimore, MD, the next AQS promises to assist attendees in improving their value to health outcomes. The role of continuing education in quality will be explored, and important trends will be tackled, including the use of QIE in innovation and decision-making for patient-centered care;  the expanded use of value-based system design models and effect on QIE;  the application of team-based training to QIE; and the role of technology in patient and provider education and engagement.

Preparing for Quality Improvement Education in a variety of settings 
At the Alliance Quality Symposium we will address resources, infrastructure and other things that we must consider for successful QIE and the IPE team. Patient engagement, quality measurement, team-based competencies, and other tools to take you to the next level of your success. This program will highlight several ways and approaches for QI in and share success stories to help participants understand how to plan and implement a QIE program.
