If yes, then register for the Alliance’s 2012 Virtual Journal Club!
The Alliance is re-launching its Virtual Journal Club so that it models a live journal club experience! Drawing upon the most recently published issue of The Journal of Continuing Education in the Health Professions (JCEHP), learners will engage in online discussions and a conference call with the author(s). Each quarterly cycle’s virtual journal club will be an opportunity to discuss three articles from the most recent issue of JCEHP. The discussion will be led by a facilitator who will help learners recognize and seek opportunities to link the article to current practices in CE in the health professions.

- An online-community group Discussions with - not “a talk from” - the authors!
- A unique opportunity to help you translate research to practice!
Another exciting facet to the Alliance's Virtual Journal Club is the opportunity for learners to be their own organization's journal club faciliators! We believe that the Virtual Journal Club is a great strategy to help translate research to practice, so we will provide resources (like discussion guides) to help learners faciliate a dialogue with co-workers. We hope that the 2012 Virtual Journal Club will be the start of many "brown bag" lunch and learn series throughout the field!
