One of the things that is most fun for me as Alliance President this year is knowing in advance what will be taking place during the year. I am particularly excited about the plans that our Annual Conference Committee, led by Deb Gist and William Mencia, have been making. Those of you who have been members of the Alliance for at least several years are, I am sure, looking forward to returning to the city of San Francisco and our hosts at the Marriott Marquis. If you are able to come out early, or stay late, there are so many wonderful things to do and see in the Bay area. This year, I hope to visit with colleagues in Sonoma or return to my favorite lodge in Big Sur, Deetjen’s Big Sur Inn.
As for the conference itself, the chance to see so many friends and fellow CE professionals is near the top of my list. But that’s only the beginning, as the AC Committee has once again lined up an outstanding schedule of keynote speakers, educational sessions that are truly cutting edge, and award ceremonies that will be very special this year. I am tempted to share the secret, but not yet! Let me just say that you do not want to miss it. One of the ways the Committee has been innovative this year, is in planning multiple ways for conference attendees to interact and network. From innovation labs to networking lounges, you will have more ways to connect with colleagues at this conference than ever before.
I hope that you are making plans to join us in San Francisco January 26-29, 2016. I am looking forward to seeing you there!
Registration will open this September.
