Sermo entered into a new partnership with the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) that will integrate Sermo's platform of 800,000 verified physicians with ACCC's continuing medical education (CME) resources. The platform will support ACCC's CME content/video suite, covering cancer-specific topics to help doctors plan treatment, based on physician requests. Sermo CEO Peter Kirk said 70% of physicians polled during the platform's design phase felt CME would be the most beneficial new type of content for the platform to feature. "We're excited that physicians will be able to access ACCC's on-demand resources to maintain, develop and increase their knowledge, skills, and professional performance in oncology," he added.
