We are excited for this year’s Alliance Industry Summit (AIS), entitled Lead From Where You Are: Applying the Power of Education to Improve Healthcare, scheduled for May 22-24 in Philadelphia, PA!
This year’s meeting promises to achieve objectives through active engagement and increased interactions with colleagues. As we envision future directions in IME and tackle everyday challenges, we invite you to share the outstanding work that you have accomplished. Whether your efforts involve innovative program designs, outcomes collection and analysis, or provision of support, you play a critical role in the delivery of education that truly impacts healthcare providers and patients.
Lead from where YOU are. What does “good” look like to you? How do you effectively communicate your outcomes? Your work and your voice matter! Providers, we welcome your submission and look forward to learning you're your expertise. Supporters, you too are welcome to encourage providers to submit outcomes abstracts that you believe have made an impact with your internal stakeholders. Once again we are dedicating the opening session on Monday, May 22nd to sharing Best in Class Outcomes…with a twist.
New this year: The People’s Choice Awards! The committee has designed an evening that will ensure selected abstracts are not only viewed, but also discussed. Upon abstract submission and a potential selection, you will be asked to share your design, outcomes, insights and communication strategy in poster format with AIS Conference Participants. All participants will be asked to discuss your poster and cast their votes for their top 3 well-designed and impactful activities. Winners will be announced on day 2 of the conference. In addition, selected posters will be showcased as endured oral presentations online with video capture on the Communities section of the Alliance Website, as well as in the Almanac.
The AIS Committee Best in Class Distinction Award. The AIS Committee and guest panelists will select high-quality outcomes presentations that effectively report the measured impact of initiatives successful in addressing identified gaps resulting in: clinical care improvements and/or behavior change and/or HCP knowledge/competency/confidence/performance. The selected initiative(s) will be presented live, and explored from the perspectives of the accredited provider, educational partner, and supporter. The interactive discussion will go beyond outcomes, providing their tactics for communicating the impact of the activity to key internal and external stakeholders. Participants engaging in this session will gain valuable insights to increase the effectiveness of their overall educational outcomes communication strategy.
Below are submission instructions and a link to the application.
Don’t miss YOUR opportunity to be recognized, to share your successes with your community, to raise the bar, and importantly, to lead from where you are. Your participation is critical for the success of the community.
On behalf of the AIS Committee, thank you for your interest and support.
