Diana J. Durham, PhD, FACEHP

Dr. Durham serves as the Associate Director for Accreditation, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration Employee Education System. Dr. Durham manages VHA EES’s system-wide Accreditation team, ensuring that all VHA CE activities developed and implemented for VHA clinicians and healthcare administrators meet the criteria of its twelve national and two state accreditations. Previously, Dr. Durham provided CME/CE leadership at Good Samaritan Hospital, a teaching hospital of University of Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA, and at an audio enduring materials publisher (then part of the California Medical Association).

Active in the Alliance since 1991, Dr. Durham often serves as faculty at the Alliance’s conferences. Currently, she chairs the Federal CE Provider Group, and previously chaired the Hospital Provider Group, the State & Regional Organizations Subcommittee and the Basics Institute at the Alliance Annual Meeting. In January 2013, Dr. Durham presented the endowed Frances Maitland Lecture on mentoring and being mentored.
