Ms. DeVivo currently serves as the Chief Professional Education Officer at the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. In this position since 2007, Rebecca oversees all educational and CME programming for ASGE, including their annual meeting, online education, DVD products, self-assessment and performance improvement modules, assessment and certification programs, international activities, and multiple hands-on training courses held each year at ASGE’s new state-of-the-art Institute for Training and Technology outside Chicago.
Before joining ASGE, Ms. DeVivo served as the Director of Accreditation and Certification at the American Medical Association, and previously worked for the National Patient Safety Foundation. She obtained two masters degrees in public health and social work, is a Past President of the Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, and is a recipient of the 2014 Forty-Under-40 Award given by the Association Forum of Chicagoland for up-and-coming leaders in associations and non-profit organizations.
