Pre-Conference Workshops

Jump start your conference experience by learning from industry leaders during one of our innovative pre-conference workshops.

  • The Basics Pre-Conference Workshop: The Basics Workshop 2019 is designed for those people at entry level in continuing education in the health professions. Whether you have been in your position for one day or two years, you will leave this workshop with real-world examples and expert insights to immediately implement into your daily professional life to improve your performance within your organization.

  • Diving Into A Grants Alligator Pit: This energetic shark-tank style session will bring together "alligators" (a panel of grantors) and allow participants to work in small groups using current examples to submit a grant request and subsequent outcomes report for a hypothetical activity to the "alligators."

  • Best Practices by the Accredited Provider, for the Accredited Provider: What does best practice in continuing medical education mean to your program? What benchmarks do you and your program use to determine educational success? Learn from a group of educational practitioners as they share examples where programs have endured challenges, yet celebrated success. 

  • Women in Leadership: Gaining Traction and Getting There: This workshop is specifically designed to support women who are or wish to be in a leadership role in their own work setting, the Alliance, and/or other institutions/organizations. 

Media Registration

To request media registration for the Alliance 2019 Annual Conference, please complete the Media Registration Form and submit it to Kate Purdy, kpurdy@acehp.org.

Cancellations/Substitutions/Refunds Policy:

 Your registration may be transferred to a member of your organization up to 5 days before the event when requested in writing (email, mail or fax). Requests for cancellations (by email, mail or fax) must be received by 6:00 pm EST, Monday, December 17, 2018 in order to receive a refund minus a $150.00 processing fee. Cancellations will not be accepted after that date. The Alliance reserves the right to cancel an event. The Alliance is not responsible for any airfare, hotel, or other costs incurred by registrants. Speakers are subject to change without notice.
