The Alliance wants to help you acquire the knowledge and skill set you need to be successful in the field of continuing education for the health professions. Fundamentals 101 is an eight-week, self-paced multi-media program designed to meet the needs of novice CEhp practitioners from all organizational backgrounds.
Program Start Date: October 20, 2017
The one day in-person kick-off meeting will take place at the ASGE Institute for Training and Technology located at 3300 Woodcreek Drive, Downers Grove, IL 60515. The program will start at 8:15 am and end by 4 pm.
The program kicks off with a full day live meeting on October 20, 2017 followed by eight-weeks of self-paced learning. The course addresses Level 1 Practices of the Alliance’s National Learning Competencies. Using this framework, the course will cover the basics of the field of CEhp – how to effectively use adult learning principles and educational design best practices, how to assess the impact of your CME activities and CME program, and how to identify your own professional practice gaps in support of your own lifelong learning. You will also learn how to leverage your CEhp planning best practices to support accreditation and credit requirements.
