Competitive Grant Opportunity: Improving Pneumococcal Immunization of Adults with Immunocompromising Conditions
We are pleased to announce a new collaboration with Pfizer tailored to Alliance members within our Hospital and Health Systems and Medical Schools member sections.
The competitive grant opportunity focuses on Improving Pneumococcal Immunization of Adults with Immunocompromising Conditions through quality improvement (QI) initiatives that will result in an increase in pneumococcal vaccination uptake in adults with Immunocompromising Conditions.
This can be achieved through numerous strategies such as:
- Engaging interdisciplinary and interprofessional teams
- Creating knowledge that builds capabilities and capacity
- Quality improvement efforts which are system focused
- Educational efforts that demonstrate public health improvement activities around adult immunization
During review, the intended outcome of the project is given careful consideration, and if appropriate based on the project goal, projects with the maximum likelihood to directly impact patient care will be given high priority.
All Letters of Intent (LOIs) must be received by 11:59 PM ET March 18, 2019 to be considered.
The Alliance will serve as the main point of contact for the grant process and provide support to our members during all stages of the grant—from submission to implementation and presentation of outcomes. We are here to support you through the process and are excited to be offering this opportunity exclusively for Alliance members.
