Beth’s passion lies in re-imagining healthcare for patients, communities, and those delivering care. Her experience consists of educational design and delivery, leadership and strategic development, quality and performance improvement, policy development, budget analysis, and assessing and reporting educational outcomes results. Through her role as a Grant Officer at Pfizer, Beth has been able to utilize that passion to collaborate with academic institutions and medical associations and focus on supporting quality improvement and professional development fellowship programs centered on improving healthcare disparities and health equity. It has been particularly rewarding to see the results of these programs and how they have improved diversity, equity, inclusion, and the overall impact of patient care in underserved communities.
Collaboration has also been a prominent theme is Beth’s other roles in CME, collaborating on independent educational activities as the accredited provider with multiple joint providers, including medical societies and associations. In addition, she has worked in accreditation for multiple types of organizations (academic medical centers, medical education companies, commercial supporters) and is particularly proud of her accomplishment of twice achieving accreditation with commendation, in 2011 and 2017 with CME Outfitters.
