I am excited to express my desire to join the esteemed Alliance Board of Directors and inspired to contribute my unique perspective, insights, and experiences. In an era where diversity, equity, and inclusion have rightfully taken center stage, it is essential that decision-making bodies reflect our community and profession. I’m dedicated to driving positive change, promoting diversity, and contributing to unique perspectives that can foster innovation and growth within the Alliance.
Currently, I serve as chair of the Alliance’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee,and co-chair of the Medical School Section. I’m also a member of the Almanac Editorial Board and the President of the Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (MAACME). I enjoy it all. It’s a lot of work and time, but it provides an opportunity for me to gain invaluable knowledge and skills and a network of colleagues who inspire and support each other in addition to making a meaningful contribution to the Alliance’s growth and sustainability.
I thrive on being an advancement leader and inspiring others to explore their unlimited potential whether it’s personal or professional. My aspiration to join the Board is rooted in a commitment to the well-being of our community of continuing professional development colleagues. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my time, energy, and expertise to the betterment ofthe Alliance and our community of health education professionals.
