Overview

Alliance Leadership Institute: Lead with purpose. Shape the future of CPD.

CPD professionals who are ready to advance their leadership skills and prepare for greater influence within their organizations and the Alliance.

Must be an active Alliance member in good standing with membership dues paid for 2026.
Must have been in the healthcare CPD field for a minimum of five years.
Must currently lead programs, departments or organizations, or must aspire to advance into leadership roles or responsibilities.

Cost per participant: $950

Interested participants must submit an online self-nomination form to provide the following information:

Professional experience
A personal statement to discuss why you are interested in the program and your perspective on leadership.
- How do you hope to grow with this experience?
A current CV or resume.
One (1) letter of support from someone who can speak to your leadership experience and potential.
- This may be a colleague or supervisor from your workplace, a member of the Alliance or someone from another organization where you have served in a leadership role.
- The letter should highlight your strengths, contributions and capacity for growth as a leader.

Deadline: Nov. 24, 11:59 p.m. ET

This is a year-long program with monthly calls and additional opportunities for networking. Participants should ensure they have institutional support for the time required to attend this program.
Participants will be expected to complete all homework and/or reading assignments between sessions.
Participants will be expected to attend and fully participate in all monthly one-hour virtual sessions. If participants cannot attend, then they must watch the recording of the sessions and be prepared for the next session.
There are no refunds.
Participants will be expected to attend the 2026 and 2027 Alliance Annual Conferences, in-person sessions and a program graduation ceremony. Participants will be expected to pay their own travel expenses to attend the conferences.
Participants will be given a peer partner to help them build cross-sector relationships and community. Participants will be matched with their peer partner at the beginning of the program.
