Learning Objectives
1. Map the journey of interprofessional continuing education by describing its historical evolution and core purpose, establishing our starting point "A" (current practice) and destination "B" (desired collaborative outcomes).
2. Apply evidence-based design principles for interprofessional continuing education by identifying who should "share the ride" (which professionals) and selecting the optimal route through cognitions, affect, and behaviors.
3. Utilize master adaptive learning strategies by engaging in reflective practice—using the "rearview mirror" to examine past instructional designs and the "side mirrors" to check current approaches—to continuously improve interprofessional education.
