Whenever I explain my work, I often encounter confusion—which reflects the complexity of our field and the critical need to bridge clinical advancements with real-world practice. I am privileged to do what I love: helping translate clinical advancements through continuing education (CE) into meaningful changes in clinicians’ daily practice and, ultimately, better patient outcomes. Knowing that even one patient’s journey can improve because of a CE program is deeply rewarding.

I truly believe that CE is a powerful catalyst for meaningful change in clinical practice. It serves as a trusted partner in a clinician’s lifelong learning journey—one that evolves long after their foundational training to meet the ever-changing needs of patient care. This belief fuels my passion for fostering collaboration within the entire patient care team, including managed care, to deliver patient-centered care that spans from diagnosis and treatment to ensuring access and equity. By sharing actionable insights, I hope to help close care gaps and empower stakeholders to meet clinicians’ educational needs with empathy and intentionality.

With over 15 years of experience in medical education and strategic medical affairs, I bring expertise in healthcare compliance, adult learning principles, and quality improvement. These experiences have sharpened my ability to drive meaningful change, align strategy with execution, and cultivate cross-functional partnerships. Through collaboration with medical education companies, healthcare associations,
academic centers, health systems, and others, I’ve gained a deep appreciation for the diverse perspectives across our field. I understand the complex, evolving challenges the CE community is facing, and I believe the Alliance has a vital role in protecting our integrity while amplifying our impact.

If elected, I will work with the Board to shape a shared vision—one that reflects the CE profession’s full potential as a strategic force for advancing patient care. Above all, I will bring my full passion for this community and its future. Together, we can ensure that every patient receives the right care at the right time, because advancing continuing education to improve health outcomes is not just our goal—it’s at the heart of what we do.
