My leadership philosophy is grounded in servant leadership—showing up to listen first, serve always, and lead with integrity and intention. As such, I am asking for your support of my candidacy to serve on the Alliance Board of Directors. I believe in the transformative power of continuing professional development (CPD) in healthcare, and I want to help steward its future.
The Alliance has long been a hub for innovation, collaboration, and excellence in CPD, and it would be an honor to represent its membership in shaping the future. My healthcare journey has been one of curiosity, growth, and collaboration. I’ve had the privilege of serving in clinical practice and in roles that span change management, healthcare strategy, education leadership, and interprofessional collaboration. In each of these roles, I’ve focused on creating environments that empower people to thrive through continuous learning, collaboration, and data-driven improvement. By partnering data science and technology, I led implementation of outcomes dashboards that improved team efficiency and informed educational impact—translating strategic innovation into measurable improvements in practice and patient care. I’ve learned that real change happens when passionate people align around a shared vision—something the Alliance embodies deeply.
My passion is positively impacting patent outcomes by providing education, tools, and strategies that are purposeful, inclusive, and transformative. My experience in instructional design and strategic planning have shown how education can drive real improvement. One example is my integration of microlearning to support just-in-time learning—a flexible approach that meets real-time clinical needs in a fast-changing healthcare environment. This agility ensures learning is purposeful, timely, and aligned with evidence-based standards.
What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to give back. The Alliance has played a vital role in expanding my own network, understanding, and confidence. From learning alongside other CPD professionals to gaining insight into national trends shaping healthcare, the Alliance has been a cornerstone of my development. I now hope to pay that forward by supporting the needs of members and fostering collaboration and results.
I approach this Board position with humility, accountability, and a collaborative spirit grounded in servant leadership. I believe the best leaders serve first—by listening deeply, advocating thoughtfully, and always putting community needs at the center of their actions. I am prepared to support policy and governance, foster partnerships, ensure ethical leadership, and engage fully in strategic planning and financial oversight. I’m especially eager to promote interprofessional collaboration, credentialing advancement, and engaged participation across all stages of professional growth.
At a time when our field is evolving rapidly—driven by data, innovation, and a renewed commitment to health equity—I believe the Alliance must lead boldly. I bring with me the Perspective of a change agent, a lifelong learner, a healthcare professional, and a passionate advocate for our profession.
