Meet the Keynotes

Mike Varshavski, DO

Dr. Varshavski, known as Doctor Mike, is a board-certified family physician and the world’s most-followed doctor with over 30 million followers. He fights medical misinformation and promotes health education through social media and his podcast, "The Checkup," featuring leaders and experts like former Vice President Kamala Harris and Dr. Anthony Fauci. A UNICEF global ambassador, he also practices at a New Jersey community health center.

Mike Varshavski, M.D.

John Whyte, M.D., MPH

Dr. Whyte is CEO and executive vice president of the American Medical Association (AMA) and a recognized leader in healthcare innovation. He previously served as chief medical officer at WebMD, director at the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research and held leadership roles at Discovery Channel and CMS. He is consistently ranked among the Top 20 Health Influencers.

John Whyte, M.D., MPH

Dave Davis, M.D., CCFP, FCFP, FRCPC(hon), FSACME

Dr. Davis, professor emeritus at the University of Toronto and global advisor to AXDEV Group, is a former family physician who has led CME and performance improvement initiatives at McMaster University, University of Toronto and the Association of American Medical Colleges. Author of over 200 publications and three books, he is internationally recognized for advancing evidence-based education and has spoken on five continents.

Dave Davis, M.D., CCFP, FCFP, FRCPC(hon), FSACME

George Mejicano, M.D.

Dr. Mejicano is a nationally recognized leader in medical education. He earned his MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago and trained in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the University of Wisconsin. He has held senior leadership roles at Wisconsin, OHSU and Carle Illinois College of Medicine and chaired major initiatives for the AMA, AAMC, ACCME and LCME.

Marcia J. Jackson, PhD

Dr. Jackson is a pioneer in continuing medical education with decades of leadership experience at the American College of Cardiology, University of Maryland Global Campus and Interactive Health Network. She founded her own consulting firm in 2007 and has served as president of the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, earning multiple awards for her contributions to health professions education.

Marcia J. Jackson, Ph.D.

Rebecca DeVivo, MPH, MSW, CHCP

Rebecca DeVivo, MPH, MSW, CHCP, is CEO of the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE). She previously held executive roles at the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, driving education and innovation. A past president of the Alliance, Rebecca brings expertise in public health and social work to advancing healthcare education.
