Preparing for the Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP) exam? Join this interactive five-hour workshop designed to boost your knowledge, strategies and confidence. We’ll cover all 10 key domains, including educational design, program leadership, outcomes measurement, accreditation, collaboration, data and technology, ethics, communication, organizational strategy and learner needs analysis. Whether you’re new to compliance or a seasoned pro, this session will help you focus your study and sharpen your skills for success.

While the CHCP Preparation Course takes place in person in Orlando on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2027, virtual pre-work is required in advance of the pre-conference session.

Generative AI in Practice: A Hands-On Workshop for Health Professions Educators

Get a head start on #Alliance27 with an exclusive virtual workshop led by returning Alliance Annual Conference fan-favorite presenter Dominic Slauson. On Feb. 11, from 1-4 p.m. ET, explore how AI is transforming healthcare CPD while getting a preview of the innovative ideas and practical insights that will take center stage when we gather in Orlando.

This three-hour, hands-on session will move beyond the hype to address a practical question: What can generative AI actually take off your plate, and how can you produce results you'd be comfortable putting your name on? You'll explore how AI can streamline everyday tasks such as summarizing, rewriting and reformatting, then dive into more advanced applications, including drafting case studies, assessment items and rubrics. Dominic will also demonstrate emerging capabilities, including agentic tools that can carry out multi-step work on your behalf.

Participants will apply what they learn through small-group exercises focused on real challenges from their own work, using any generative AI platform they already have access to. The workshop will conclude with a discussion of ethics, oversight and decision-making, helping attendees determine what tasks can be delegated to AI and what should remain firmly in human hands.

No prior AI experience is required, and those already using AI regularly will discover new approaches and capabilities. Attendees should plan to have an active account on a generative AI platform of their choice, including free versions, to participate in the interactive portions of the workshop.

Aligned with the Alliance's National Learning Competencies, the program delivers essential knowledge and skills you can apply immediately in your work.

Participants will complete five online pre-work modules before joining live virtual sessions beginning Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2027. Pre-work modules will be available starting Tuesday, Dec. 8.
